I work at the intersection of data science and consciousness science, applying computational intelligence to optimize the performance of complex systems, both organizational and human. As Principal and Chief Scientist of Sage Moxie Inc., I lead a performance data intelligence practice. I am a senior data analytics and performance measurement professional with close to a decade of experience at British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), one of Canada's largest institutional investors managing over $250 billion in assets. My work at BCI spans the full lifecycle of enterprise data: designing and building reporting infrastructure, constructing governance frameworks with complete source-to-report lineage, delivering executive-facing analytics across 33+ investment funds, and driving multi-year data migration initiatives that transformed how performance is measured and communicated.
My technical foundation is deep: SQL, Python, Power BI, DAX, VBA, Tableau, and modern AI tools including prompt engineering, agent-based automation, and large language model integration. I bring domain expertise in performance measurement, data governance, systems integration, and decision intelligence.
Beyond institutional analytics, I am the founder and principal of Sage Moxie Inc., a Canadian consultancy that applies data science and AI engineering to measure, analyze, and optimize the performance of data-generating systems. Our proprietary methodology, Synformatix, operates as a regenerative cycle (Capture, Measure, Analyze, Optimize) grounded in the mathematical identity φ² = φ + 1, the golden ratio principle that represents compounding intelligence. Alongside my professional practice in data science, I pursue an independent research program in consciousness science.
